Can I quickly clear
something up to the 40% who think you choose to be gay? Nobody choose to be
gay, they can pretend to be and they can pretend they are not, but deep down
you are or aren’t. The 14% who think gay people shouldn’t marry and those who said if a celeb/teacher was gay
would impact their opinion are homophobic. Same for those who think you shouldn’t
be able to bring a gay date to a prom. Homphobic!
Being against gays is really outdated. If you still need a book to tell you what to do then you probably can't handle thinking for yourself.
ALSO ITS TOUGH FOR US TEENAGERS WITH OUR HORMONES THESE DAYS
WELL FOR MY OPINION I AM AGAINST BECAUSE GOD CREATED YOU TO BE A GIRL OR BOY TO LIKE THE OPPOSITE GENDER. NOW THIS STUFF IS IN MY MIND ALL DAY. I WANNA STAY STRAIGHT AND IM JUST SAYING GAY MARRIAGE SHOULDN'T BE BECAUSE WHY LIKE A GIRL BECAUSE SHES PRETTY OR HAVE A BIG BUTT OR WHATEVER. WHY LIKE A BOY BECAUSE HIS SWAG. DON'T YOU WANT CHILDREN A REAL FAMILY. YALL CAN DISAGREE IM JUST STATING MY OPINION I AM RELLE AND I DO NOT SUPPORT THIS. GOD CHOSE YOU TO BE A CERTAIN GENDER SORRY.
What about intersexed people? God created them but where do they fit into your idea on how God wants us to be???
Gender is different from orientation...? Pretty sure if God didn't want humans to be gay, or bi, then he wouldn't have made them gay or bi. Then you just come back with "Then they choose to be". No. Even if they choose to be, shouldn't God still accept them? In your eyes, he 'created' us after all.
Love thy neighbour. But not if he's gay!!!!
I'm not gay, I'm bi ;P
Allowing gays to marry is a legal matter, not a religious one. A majority disagree with it because "the Bible says it is wrong". Well, the Bible also supports racism [Exodus, chapter 21], sexism [1 Timothy, chapter 2], and supports killing others who commit adultery and curse their parents [Leviticus, chapter 20]. Should we follow his words on those issues also? Form your own opinions instead of blinding following, or at least don't be hypocritical when using the Bible in your argument.
THANK YOU!!!!! SOMEONE WITH COMMON SENSE!!! People say no cuz it goes against their religious values. But no matter what you believe, we do have a constitution, and everyone should have the same rights. If Mormons can marry more than one woman (please, no offense meant) then people should be able to marry with other of the same se*x
I think that the gay agenda has an ulterior motive that they want all people (heterosexual included) to accept them as being normal. I find that a lot of gay people are very unhappy people and are actually not very "gay" at all. Using the term "gay" to describe homosexual activity is just another way of trying to bend the majority of heterosexual views to accept homosexuality as being normal. I also believe that many homosexual views are very damaging to the children of the world who are inn
There is no 'agenda' gay people just want to be happy and be able to live their lives without having to suffer abuse for the way that they are (cannot change). People that are going to be no more unhappy than straight people, but maybe because there are people like you in the world like you that refuse to accept them, when no one accepts you, you may not be happy. The fact that you say being gay is 'not normal' what is your deffinintion of normal? Being gay is the way that people are born.
Also just curious, why do you think that 'homosexual views' are damaging to children?
I'm not gay, but my bigger bro is, and that actually creeps me out a bit seeing him make out with a man.
I'm waiting for a time when we don't need to say gay and straight, when we can just refer to humans as what they are, what we all are; equal humans, who deserve equal rights.
I don't believe in Christianity, but I believe in God. I left the religion because there were too many parts of it I respectfully disagreed with. The God I believe in has only one rule: love your neighbor.
You say that God loves all his children; if you love God, then why don't you follow his lead?
My beliefs exactly.
Of course they deserve human rights, and they shouldn't feel the need to 'have to come out', they should just be able to date or marry who they like without any explanation, but you can still use those labels and be equal.
I'm annoyed I don't know who I am and even when I find out I might not even get good support by being seen equally.
