IDEA
So, these young people with elemental (earth, water, fire, air, animals, electricity, snow, stone, dark, light ect.) powers are trying to figure out why the heck they were born with them, and how they can use them, or why. Just why. Most of their lives revolved around the question-"Why me?"
They're spent their entire childhood trying to hide them, and now they stand on the brink of adulthood, unsure of if they can hide them anymore.
Somehow they all end up on the northernmost coast of Maine- maybe they ran away, or were on vacation, or live there. And somehow, they all find each other.
And it turns out their powers were much more than something to hide.

Name- Evangeline
Age-21
Appearance- 5ft9", slim, pale skin, dark wavy, gloss hair that falls to her shoulders, grey eyes that always look kinda sad, wears a long black dress

Personality- a dreamer, romantic, very sad, loves music more than life, has almost given up hope that this power is useful, kind, when she smiles it always means something, gives good advice, loves children
Background- played clarinet to express her feelings as a young girl, and was lucky enough to be able to hide the power from her parents, an only child, she left and went to Maine as soon as she was old enough to be alone and use her power, lives in tiny cabin called "Birches" near a small town, she rarely goes into town, has a two year degree to work with special needs children as a Speech Language Pathology assistant,
Power- Shadows/dark
Love Interest- Yes! Male character!

Appearance- blonde hair in a classic bob, emerald eyes, willowy form, wears cotton tunics in light blues, greys and tans and black leggings and light blue converse, pink lips, is very tall, about six foot,
Personality- a stoic soul who rarely says what's on her mind, she goes along with the plan and is very quiet, almost boring, very blunt, super loyal, does not joke around, very responsible, timely, no one know if she's optimistic or pessimistic since she rarely angers or
breaks her poker face, everyone thinks she hates people but she doesn't, she just never says any thing
Background- as a kid her stoicness caused the schools to think her autistic or that she had a learning disorder so they put her in a bunch of special classes which she hated but never said anything, her parents invested in speech therapy and paid more attention to her than her other sister who hated her for it, she left home as soon as she could to flee her sister's hateful words and abuse

Personality- Competitive, friendly, slightly bold/egotistical and impulsive, tries to be encouraging but never knows what to say, will frequently withdraw to be alone, often inwardly depressed, scared of anyone becoming a real friend/getting to know her
Background- She grew up in a rich/middle-class family, by the ocean, her parents were always very encouraging and proud of her, she loved swimming since she was young, secretly using her power (once she discovered it) to help her win competitions, till an accident occurred, she grew distant from her family, feeling like she didn’t connect with them anymore, always afraid that anyone would know about her power, one day she just grabbed a boat and left home, no plan of where she was going...
She has an older sister, (and a little brother who died when she was 15)

Personality- Quiet-shy, affectionate and emotional (for a guy), sweet, kind, clueless, clumsy, off-in-lala-land type, but will become protective (in a cute, shy way).
Background- Thomas has loved games (electrical, board, card, etc.) since he could play them. His parents found it helpful and hindering at times. Tom has issues falling asleep, due to his fear of the dark and random light 'fits'. His power reacts on his emotions (sad = dull flicker, scared = bright-blinding, happy = perfect shine), which makes it hard to hide and control, so his parents home-school him as well as send him to school. He lives in Maine.

Personality- Sarcastic and can be the downer occasionally. She always likes to point out what's wrong with ideas. A real gamer and antisocial doesn't really get a long with anyone except Evangeline for some reason even though they just met. ...
Yui Obeys Evangeline's orders at all times and never disrespects her like Yui does to everyone else.
Background- Learned to connect with Animals And Nature when she was 5 due to the fact that Yui was an orphan. Lives in Maine and loves the cold weather. When Yui was 14 She got a well paid job who used her Shape Shifting Powers. The company experimented on animals using her Shape Shifting. (Yup that was well paying.) When Yui got enough money she bought a Small Laptop having no use To buy ...
