Chapter 1

Chapter One

Addisyn's POV

"Alright, I'll see you in about 15 minutes. See you soon." I hung up my phone and slid it into my coat pocket. I was on my way to meet my boyfriend, Caleb, at our favorite coffee shop: Aroma Mocha. We meet there for lunch every single day, in the small window of time that I don't have class and he doesn't have work. I had a test in one of my writing classes, so I was running a little bit late. I was enjoying the walk though, as I find nothing more breathtaking than New York City in the fall.

I was in my Junior year at New York University, trying to pursue my dream of becoming a writer. Caleb graduated two years ago and works for an up-and-coming publishing company. We met through mutual friends at NYU, and the day I met him, I knew he was the man I wanted to marry. Where I am quiet and don't like to be in the spotlight, Caleb is outgoing and loves to be around people. He is super sweet and very romantic. He always wants to put me before himself, and I couldn't ask for anyone better. We've been dating for almost three years now, and I have a feeling he is going to propose any day.

I stopped walking for a second to re-tie my scarf, and I suddenly got a really funny feeling in my stomach that quickly spread throughout my whole body. I decided to just keep walking until my vision began to get a little spotty. I started getting dizzy and couldn't see where I was going. I sat down on the sidewalk and leaned back on the building behind me.

After about five minutes it passed, and I decided to head towards Aroma Mocha, at this point I was barely even going to get to see Caleb. I reached the coffee shop and saw Caleb sitting at our usual booth, I slid in across from him. "Hey, Love! Sorry I'm so late." He didn't answer, he just stared at me with a weird look on his face, like he didn't know why I was there or what I was talking about.

"Caleb? Are you okay?"

"How you do you even know my name? I mean, no offense, but what are you doing here?" Caleb sputtered. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry, was this some kind of a joke? If so, I didn't find it very funny.

"It's me, your girlfriend, Addisyn? The girl you've been dating for three years?" I expected him to start laughing and tell me he was just joking.

"Um. No, I'm pretty sure you are Taylor Swift, international pop star. But how do you know about Addisyn? Did she send you here to mess with me? Where is she?"

At this point I didn't even know what to say. He was just being ridiculous. I decided to go talk to Ruby, the cafe owner and a very good friend of ours, so she would say my name and ruin his little joke.

"Hey, Ruby, can you come over here for a second."

"Oh. My. God. Taylor Swift knows my name. Taylor Swift knows MY name! Can I get an autograph?!" I rudely jumped up from the table, leaving Caleb and Ruby behind. I ran into the bathroom and looked in the mirror. I expected to see my long auburn hair and brown eyes, instead I saw Taylor Swift staring back at me.

"Well this is new." I muttered before heading back out to see the coffee shop flooded with screaming fans and paparazzi. "This is going to get really weird, really fast."

***
Taylor's POV

"Taylor, you're on in 5." My manager called into my dressing room. I yelled some sort of reply and took a few last looks in the mirror to make sure the team had fixed my hair and makeup just the way I wanted it. I used to get super nervous before concerts but now it's just a regular thing. Tonight I am preforming in New York City, one of my favorite venues.

I walked out and got my mic double-checked and made sure everything was working. I could hear the crowd roaring and I knew it was going to be a fun night. Just as I was about to walk out on stage, I got a really weird feeling in my stomach. "Just some random butterflies," I thought. I stopped for a minute to calm down, and then went running out on stage.

Usually the crowd goes berserk. but they just kept doing what they had been doing. I decided to get everyone pumped up by jumping right into Bad Blood, my top song right now. As soon as the first line left my mouth, I knew something was wrong. I sounded like a dying cow.

The next thing I knew, one of MY bodygaurds pulled me off stage and drug me out of the stadium. Something was seriously wrong, he didn't even seem to know who I was; NOBODY knew who I was. I was walking down the street trying to decide what to do when I saw a bunch of paparazzi and screaming girls outside a little coffee shop. It would be the first time in a long time I could be around the paparazzi without hiding, so I decided to go see what

It seemed that the owner and the customers had locked the door to keep out all the commotion. I fought my way to the front of the crowd, only to see myself sitting at the bar drinking a cup of coffee. I looked into the glass to try and see my reflection, and saw that I had auburn hair and brown eyes, I looked completely different. What the heck was going on?

Suddenly a good-looking guy in a suit jumped up and opened the door, he grabbed my wrist and pulled me inside, locking the door back behind us. I, or the person who looked like me, spit out her coffee when she saw me.

"You're me!" She yelled.

"And you're me!" I yelled back.

She introduced herself as Addisyn and we sat down with her boyfriend Caleb and tried to explain to him what was going on, and figure out how in the world we were going to fix it.
