Teen Heart

"Anna, you need to decide on what path you're going to take in your life," mother said, "Decide; Leave or Stay." I looked at my mother, the usual frown on my face, dark makeup, scars all over. "Bye, Mom." I started to walk off, but was stopped by my father standing in my way. "If you leave, Annabelle, You can't come back." Father pointed out, "Do you understand?" I smirked and pushed past him, with my bag of possessions. I don't have much, just small items that will help me live on my own. Food, water, everything essential.

This was the day I decided I will be on my own for the rest of my life, and I was happy with my decision to leave home.
