We're a lot alike, aren't we? We both go to sleep, wake up, go to the restroom, and [hopefully] take a shower. We aren't that different. We are equals in society. You are NOT better than me. Well, why do you treat me that way? One difference between us is that I die every day. I'm always on the verge of crying. I'm always on the verge of cutting. You're not wrong when you call me weird, but I'm not wrong if I say it back to you. The other day I was asked what I regret. I regret my first cut, my last cut, all the cuts in between. I regret never standing up for myself. I regret most of the things I do or say. Truth is, I regret a lot of things. You see, I don't have any little regrets. All these regrets could quite possibly have changed my life forever. That made me think, why do people try to stop others from making mistakes? The more mistakes that we don't have the chance to make the more we want to make them. We need to make our own mistakes, but we need support. It doesn't matter how bad an idea it is. Someone needs to TRUST you. Without someone telling us we'll be fine, one day we may fall down. No one needs to tell us how to live OUR lives, we just need someone to help pick up the pieces IF we fall. But, with the right attitude and support we WILL NOT fall. Besides, it's unhealthy to be perfect. It is unhealthy not to make mistakes. Mistakes shape you. They make you who you are. Don't try to make me perfect. If you do, I will try my very, very best to screw up.
