I need to tell y'all somethin'.
Chapter 1
................
Kinda a more serious rant of mine. Which is why it isn't with the rest of them.
So yeah. As you know, I'm a Catholic atheist. And if you didn't know; well, now you do. And for those of you who don't know; Catholic atheist basically means that I don't believe in God, but I follow Jesus' morals.
I used to be full-on Catholic, but then I realised that the only reason I actually was Catholic was cause I'd had it drummed into my brain and I didn't actually have any interest or belief in the religion at all.
(NOTE: Even though I don't believe in God, I won't go hatin' on your Jesus. Or your God. If you believe it, then good for you.)
Obviously, there's no point in being a certain religion if you don't have an interest in it. So I am no longer Catholic.
Another reason is the response that a lot of the Church has to gays etc. I know that's not all of the Church, but let's be honest here; how many of you would say that being gay is 'wrong?'
Fifty? One hundred?
Okay. Now; how many of you who are straight wouldn't say that it's 'wrong;' but it does sometimes make you uncomfortable to be in the vicinity of a gay couple?
Whether or not you choose to admit it, it'd be a hell of a lot more.
(I'm not going to use the word 'homophobic,' because; let's face it; it's not a phobia.)
A lot of people use the excuse "God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve." Which is a similar argument to one a five year old would make.
For starters, does that automatically mean that anything that God didn't create is wrong? That's basically what you're implying. And that makes, oh, about ninety percent of our world 'wrong.'
Secondly, if you insist upon making that argument, just remember that I don't actually believe in God. So to me, that argument is completely invalid, as I don't believe in "Adam and Eve" anyway.
I'm not saying that what you believe is wrong. I'm just saying that I myself don't think it's likely.
There is something about me that I've only told two people on here; Beth and Alex. Maybe you can tell what it is, maybe you can't; but just know that this is difficult to tell you.
I'm bi. And to all the idiotic girls out there; no, that does not mean that I'm going to fall madly in love with you if you dare to talk to me for more than a day.
If I talk to you a lot and my being bi makes you uncomfortable; you can stop talking to me if you want.
If you think that being gay, bi, lesbian etc is wrong, and you are completely and utterly disgusted with this revelation; you can delete me.
If you're a girl and I say I love you, obviously it's that I love you like a sister and I'm not actually in love with you. And if you, for some insane reason, think that I am in love with you; the only person who I'm in love with is Alex.
And now, if you bothered to read this far and care enough to help me; I need to figure out a way to tell my dad. Who just so happens to be strongly against gays, bis, etc. Help?
This has been a message from a self-confessed psycho biitch.

i HATE it when people are against gay marriage. it makes me so fvcken mad. HOW is one other person being gay going to affect your life AT ALL??
My mom & dad has friends the are gays & lesbians.
I'm straight, but I really don't mind lesbians, gays, or bi's. Everything is unique & special! They have a right to live normal in peace just like women, can do were men's jobs, & life is already a pain in the butt so don't make it worse. Also to all the haters of lesbians, gays, & bi's what out I will come & hurt the cr'p out of you! So be careful!
oh ok.
I admit I never thought this things about you.... But that's cool.
i'm not even sure if you can be both catholic and a atheist. I mean how can you follow Jesus if you don't believe in God?????
I don't follow Jesus; I agree with his morals, concerning things like adultery, stealing, etc etc. Catholic atheism is the understanding of Jesus as a teacher of morals; not someone to follow, worship, etc etc. :)
I love you, you love me, let's gang up and kill Barney! Jkjk, no. I'm in love with him and we're getting married. I don't care if he has crack in his tail -.-
Hey, can you message me about this? I hope you don't hate me...I just really want to talk to you about it. By the way, you're one diplomatic, brave girl. :)
There's actually many things that are still wrong but people just choose not to believe it.
That's all I'm going to say on the matter because I don't want this to turn into an ugly argument
Surprisingly enough some do....
I don't because I'm not crazy
Exactly. They're looked upon as crazy, because the world has advanced since that time. And yet, people of the same gender who are in love are still frowned upon by many Christians, despite the world having advanced.
