Chapter 1

Preface: So Wrong, Too Right

Their faces were close now, unable to deny this attraction that had bound them together since the two had met. She stared into his hazy ice blue eyes, wonder encompassing her thoughts. "Could this be it?" She thought. "Could this be love?"

He brushed a strand of her dark hair out of her face and stroked her soft cheek.
"I don't know, Kennedy, is it?" He asked.
Her lips parted, unable to speak. She was in complete awe. How could he have known what she was thinking?
"I see the look in your eyes, reflected in mine. I want you just as badly as you want me," He murmured, his darkly-sweet voice cooed.

She was at a loss for words. She had hated him, she had liked him, she had fallen for him. What did she feel for him now? Was it love? Was it lust? And, was it such a bad thing if it was both?
"Y-you don't know what I want," Her voice quivered under his seductive scrutiny.
His lips curled into a smile, an irresistible quirk that sent her heart to flame.
"We both know that this is what we want, Kennedy. You and I, we're as one. We belong together."

He pushed her back against the wall, pressing up against her, smothering her with his attractive presence. Kennedy's eyes flickered to his lips, still curled in that same old seductive twist of plump lips. She had the instinct to sink her lips into his bite down on that bottom lips of his.
"Is this so wrong that you'd say no?" He asked, his ice blue eyes searching her hazel ones.
"No, it's just too right I can't say anything at all," Kennedy whispered, her eyes meeting Alec's eyes again to find an odd, sensual amusement.
