Broken Angels of the Dream: The Tale of Chasity Aura Carlson
What if your whole life was a lie? What if your family just kept feeding you lies after lies? How would you react if one day, a strange man came up to you, telling you that there's others like you and that you and the "others" must join forces in order to stop an evil that has risen up again? In this story, Chasity experiences the pain of lies, loses, and drama but also experiences the happiness of true friendship, hope, and love.
I was in the room, staring at my walls. Today was the big celebration just for us 6, well 5 since Raydon was gone. I wasn't in the mood to celebrate. My heart was still broken and floating somewhere inside me that I couldn't reach so I couldn't repair my holey heart.
I felt used still. I was angry. But I wasn't angry at him, I was angry at myself. I couldn't wrap my head around it. I should be happy and feeling good because we saved the world, but instead I was acting like a stupid love sick puppy who lost her long lost companion.
A knock on my door jolted me out of my thoughts and I sighed looking up and mumbled, "Come in I guess."
Norelle and Tori came strolling into my room before plopping down on my bed next to me. I looked up at them, noticing them dressed and ready. They were gorgeous beings, they were. Norelle had her hair curled back and pulled into an elegant bun while her red dress curved around her body as golden sequins spiraled across the chest of the dress and down one of the sides. She smiled, her pink lips curling upwards while her eyes sparkled before glancing at Tori, whose red lips were formed in a sly smirk while her hair was wildly styled down to make a mysterious look as she fitted into her mini black dress perfectly.
Norelle broke the silence first and spoke, "Come on get up Chasity, you have to get ready."
I crossed my arms over my chest, heaving out a huff and whispered, "I'm not going."
"Not going? Of course you are." Tori responded with a snort before pulling me to my feet as Norelle opened my closet and showed me a gorgeous, beaded bandage organza ruffle ball gown that was plum colored.
I opened my mouth to protest, but she shoved the gown into my arms and pushed me into the bathroom, "Now get ready. Tori and I will start getting your shoes and make up things ready."
I groaned and rolled my eyes before turning around as the door was slammed in my face.
"People these days. I just want to be left alone." I mumbled to myself before setting the dress down and turned on the water to hot. After it was heated, I stripped off my clothes slowly, trying to move in slow motion so Tori and Norelle would grow impatient with me and just leave to the party without me.
But 30 minutes later, I was back into my room, dressed in the gown as my hair was all tied up in a towel on top of my head. Tori smiled at me before leaning down and pulling out black mascara and a sparkly white eye
"This will make your eyes pop even more." Tori stated while applying the mascara to my lashes. I sighed, exasperated, but continued to let her, while I felt Norelle begin brushing my wet hair after taking it out of the towel. They continued to get me ready and finally 15 minutes or so later, I was standing in the middle of the room, my golden river island nude laser cut stiletto sandals on my feet as Elle and Tori beamed at me.
"You look gorgeous!" Elle gushed out.
I sighed, my cheeks heating up slightly as I whispered, "Well let's go since I'm ready then."
The two smirked, obviously proud of themselves for making them go, before taking both my arms and dragging me out of the room. We met up with Guy and Spike in the hallway, who instantly took their girls in their arms, embracing them, leaving me the odd duck out as the 5 of us headed to part of the building I never was in before.
Through the French double styled doors, laid a beautiful room with windows covering all the wall space. It was decorated with gorgeous golden, silver, black, and white decorations while elegant music played through the air and into the people's souls while they danced throughout the room. When the 5 of us finally emerged through those doors, I was taken back. It was... perfect in here.
Tori grinned and pulled Spike to the dance floor, as Guy did that to Norelle. Leaving me all alone.
"Hey there hun." A voice stated that came behind me.
I spun around and smiled at the sight of my parents. Their eyes sparkled as my dad took my hand and spun me around.
"We are so proud of you Chasity, you have grown into such a beautiful woman." My mom stated, as I hugged my parents.
I pulled back and smiled whispering, "I'm glad you guys came."
My dad nudged me gently, "We wouldn't miss this for the world Chasity."
I grinned but my smile dropped, as my senses became aware of a familiar scent of cologne.
"Honey?" My mom's voice questioned, as if her voice melted into the air.
I mumbled, "Excuse me for a minute."
They nodded and I followed that scent until I came to a stair case. No one. I frowned and cussed under my breath then spoke, "Now I'm losing it."
"You aren't losing it love." A familiar voice stated, a voice that I would never thought I would hear again.
I turned my head to the right and there he stood. His white hair brushed back in an elegant way, while his purple eyes were not hiding any sort of emotion. Lust, happiness, love, it was all visible in his eyes. My eyes traveled across his body, his tuxedo fitted his body nicely as I could see his torso muscles faintly peaking out. My breath hitched as if I couldn't believe the sight.
Maybe it was an illusion.
"It's no illusion love. It's me. Raydon." He stated.
I slowly walked up to him, my mouth dry as I placed my hand across his naturally pink lips. I could feel the moisture of them. It was him. It was Raydon. He was here.
I breathed out and whispered, "I thought you were gone."
"I wouldn't miss this chance ever. Plus I realized something." He stated, looking directly into my sea foam green eyes.
"Oh?" I questioned and smirked slightly, "And what is that exactly?"
He twirled me around and smirked, "I realized how stupid I was for leaving my beautiful love. I missed her too much."
I hummed, a warm sensation spreading through my veins, "Is that so?"
"Very much so." He replied.
I looked back into his eyes to see if he was lying or telling the truth. Truth, that is what I saw. He smiled and took my sides of my face in his hands and leaned his forehead against mine.
Our bodies, pressing up against each other, warmth between was sparked off like fireworks. Our lips fighting a never ending battle as they tried to fit together but win the battle of dominance at the same time.
Laughter was in the background, while faint images of him and me holding hands, talking, relaxing, cuddling played as if it was some sort of movie that played the same scene over and over again
"I love you Chasity." Raydon stated, stepping back as reality wrapped around me once more.
I smiled and stepped closer to him again whispering, "And I never did stop loving you. I love you too Ray."
He grinned and pulled me into his arms just as our lips touched, giving off an enormous, magical feeling.
I parted and muttered, "The only thing that could make this better is if Gordy forgave me."
Raydon chuckled and brushed back a curl before whispering in my ear, "Turn around then love."
I did as I was told and blinked as there stood Gordy. His black hair swept back while his grey eyes landed on me. A crooked smile appeared across his face as he waved before walking over to us.
I grinned wildly, throwing my arms around him, hugging him then pulled back and punched him in the arm.
"I thought you hated me!"
"I could never hate you Chasity." Gordy responded, rubbing the back of his neck and sighed, "I realized how big off a jerk I was towards you those weeks back. I can't lose my best friend."
He glanced over at Raydon sighing, "And as long as she is happy, I am as well."
I smiled and whispered, "Thank you, both of you. I missed you two too much."
I hugged both of them once more before Gordy chuckled, "Well I'll get out of your guys' hairs, plus I saw a female checking me out earlier."
I snorted with laughter as Gordon left. Not even giving me any time to adjust, Raydon pulled me into the dance floor and we swayed our hips together, dancing, twirling, sneaking kisses.
That night, we made even more memories.
Once upon a time
my life changed with a simple rhyme
I thought I was an average girl
but that all altered with a twirl.
I wasn't as simple as I appeared
and I had a gift that at first I feared
I was destined with others to create hope
and make sure no darkness leads others to a rope.
Pain and hardships did occur
and nothing in this event will ever be a blur.
I learned what life can be about
and I wouldn't change it for a different route.
I met the people who truly cared
and along the way I was paired.
I fell in love even with the stakes
then when I thought I was on my breaks
The people showed up again
and even ended up fixing the pain.
In the end we saved the day
and for now we won't have to worry about the grey.
