Chapter 4

by: Cam12
Ok in 1870's Spain, they don't car if it is self-defense or not. Murder is murder. Carol will get the death sentence even tough she is a child. Now that the dead dudes buddies saw Carol and Lisa, all the blame will go on them.

I have to take Carol, because if my past has taught me one thing, it was never to leave a man behind. It was that, or father was a horriable person, and friends are great.

Carol's parents wouldn't care, like my friend Janie would say. Why can't dinosaurs clap? Because they are dead. Not the nicest thing to say at the moment, but I am under a lot of pressure.

I ran into the house repeating, "Pack, Pack Pack." over and over. I would occasionally hear "why," or " what was that racket," from Rachel. I would ignore her and pack Pippsie's clothes.

"Carlos, help Pablo pack. Hurry, hurry, hurry." I screamed. I was starting to go into Rachels and my room when I heard a knock on the door. I ran to let Carol and her siblings in. "Carol, hurry," I said as I opened the door.

I took a quick look and saw a shiny badge. I stood up quickly, "Good day officer, how may I help you?" I asked. I heard the backdoor open and close. Smart girl.

"I'm looking for your daughter and her..." he paused and looked around, "Her friend. I do believe you know where your daughter is, right?"

"I most certainly do, they went to Lisa's bridge. Down the firt road, under the over past," The office poked his head in. I knew he didn't have a warrent, I wasn't going to let that on.

"Thak you sir," he turned around. I got back onto his horse and rode off.
