No one knows

I stood up and walked down to the basement. As I scanned the shelves I saw something move behind them. I froze and waited. I heard small laughs coming from the end of the isle. I walked to the end and looked around. All I could see was darkness. "Hello?" Right after the words left my mouth I heard scuffling behind me. I whipped around only to see two feet disappear into the darkness. I followed them into the black. Something moved in the corner of my eye, and as I looked, the last thing I saw was a clown coming towards me with its arms outstretched...
