Ha, you see that? You see what I did there? ECLIPSE as in twilight but TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE HEART as in x...factor...song...just...yeah, nevermind. XD
Evangeline Connors is our lovely heroine this evening...a senior in high school who is age eigteen, with white-blonde hair, pale skin, vivid emerald eyes, and she stands 5'5". I think you know my other even lovely-er characters. (;
Please enjoy!!!!!! (:
Look. Look at that, right there. I've got the entire first book (and movie, for that matter) memorized, but I think I'll spare you the pain of hearing it all.
I'm a self-proclaimed Twihard, and I can't choose between Edward and Jacob, so I'm Team Renesmee. I've watched the movies more times than I can count, read the books even more. I've got Twilight jewelry, tee-shirts--I've even got a letterman's jacket from Forks High School that was used in the movie. It cost me a fortune, but it's worth every penny.
I'm wearing it today. It's raining again, like it always is in London. I've got the hood of my black sweatshirt (I'm wearing it beneath my lettermans) pulled up to try to prevent my hair from puffing up, but I know it's a lost cause. I yank it down as I enter the school, nodding and smiling at the secretary in the office.
Opal is already waiting for me at my locker. When she sees my jacket, she scowls at me. Opal doesn't understand my love of all things Twilight. She thinks I'm obsessed and that it's ridiculous. "If you can't say anything nice, sweets, don't say anything at all," I say, pretending to sound full of myself.
She groans. "Don't even call me that, Evie. I thought we were going to let that go."
"I'll let the Halloween candy escapade go when you let the Twilight thing go," I counter, shoving my bag into my locker after taking out what books I needed for first period. I see the look on her face and know that I've won. For now.
"C'mon, Evie, let's just go to AP Bio," she sighs, tugging on my sleeve. Ah, Advanced Placement Biology. The only reason I took it is because I'm too old for regular Biology--and the hope that I'll meet my own Edward in that class.
Irrational? Perhaps, but a girl can hope, right?
