Falling in Love with an Emo that Kidnapped Me...

This is a story about a girl who gets kidnapped and ends up falling in love with him (explained in the title lol)! Not really a new plot, but I LOVE this kind of story (IDK why) and I can't find many like this. So. Here we are. :D

Hope you enjoy. :)

Chapter 1

The Party and Thereafter

I had just come left work and was looking forward to the weekend. Even though working at McDonald's was not really hectic, I still felt really tired. I had even forgot it was my birthday, until I walked through the door of my shack-of-a-house. The first thing I saw was a sign that said, "Happy Sweet 16" and suddenly about 8 people popped out from behind things, screaming "Happy birthday, Elaine!" and the like. First I was surprised, than a little sad that I forgot my own birthday, then happy and excited. I had always dreamed about a surprise party! My 3 aunts, 2 uncles, and parents showed up with my one friend, Mercy. We met in school, and even after I dropped out to help with my family's financial needs we remained friends. So, yes, I had fun. The party lasted about 2 hours, ending at 9:00 p.m. Then, right before bed, I remembered a promise I made myself when I was 13: that I would highlight my dyed black hair purple. It was my favorite color at the time. And so, tomorrow, I decided I would change my red highlights to purple - big change! After enjoying my new iPod a bit more, I finally fell asleep, at about 2:00 a.m.

I woke up about 10:00 a.m., thankful it was Saturday - my day off! I got up (I don't usually sleep in my clothes, that was the one night in history I did), grabbed a Pop-Tart for breakfast, and headed to the barber's. Today was my actual birthday, and I did really feel different, older. Happy and excited, definitely! I started to skip down the alley to the street. Yes, it was a dark, creepy alley that I hated. The classic in horror movies. But I really wasn't thinking about anything happening me today! It was my birthday, and therefore, I had a protective shield on to block anything bad. Or so I thought.

Then there was a sharp pain in my arm, and everything went dark.

So much for protective shield.
