Forever And Always {A Sasuke Uchiha Love Story}

Uhm, since I'm super in love with Sasuke, I decided to do a love story to satisfy my fantasies. XD

So... I'm really into this story, as I have fallen in love with Misaki's character, and I'm proud at how well I've motivated myself to keep this fanfic going. XD

I truly hope you enjoy it! ^0^

Chapter 2

Hot Springs

by: vixybear
"Hey, Mayumi!" I made my big entrance as I walked into our apartment. I spotted the back of her head in the kitchen. The smell of tuna filled my nose.

"Misaki, you're finally home!" she exclaimed, looking at me. I always envied Mayumi. Her eyes were a pretty ash grey, and her hair was dark chocolate brown, going down to her lower back. The only thing that I didn't like about Mayumi was the fact that she always wore that same brown hat — just to hide her secret. A secret only I knew about it.

"My sensei was late," I said bluntly, taking a seat at the counter. I yawned, rubbing my eye.

"Really? Kurenai was there on time," she replied, stirring the tuna in the pan.

"Umm... what are you doing with the tuna? You know I like it right from the can," I commented, wrinkling my nose in disgust. The smell of boiling tuna isn't the best — even when I have this big thing for it.

"I decided to try something new. You can't live off of tuna and waffles the rest of your life."

I laughed, "I don't just eat that; I eat other foods too."

"Umm," I hesitated, "Steak, ramen, eggs, salad — I don't feel like naming everything. Hell, you should know what I eat!" I smiled. "I live with you!" she giggled.

"I know, I was just kidding!"

"And you got me all worked up because...?"

"I dunno. I'm just happy you're happy for once."

"I thought I was always happy...?"

"Well, you are, but you seem... excited."

"Excited?" I repeated. "Psh, yeah right. My sensei can't even arrive on time, Naruto's an obnoxious idiot, Sakura's an annoying fan girl, and Sasuke's just..."

"He's just so..."

"Hot? Amazing? Gorgeous?"

"Eww. No. He's changed..." I sighed, memories of our old childhood flooding my memory. I had known Sasuke since I was young, and after the Uchiha Clan Massacre, we grew especially close.

" ... Bad change or good change?"

"It's... just never mind, but he and Naruto glare at each other too much."

"They do have this on-going rivalry thing, remember?"

"True," I shrugged, standing up. "I'm going to change."

"Hurry then. Food's ready in ten."

"I don't take ten minutes to change! But there is such thing as the 'microwave', for your information."

"You and I both know how much you hate cold food, and the last thing I need is for you to be in one of your moods."

"My moods aren't that bad!" I yelled over my shoulder. Okay, maybe just a little bit... I added to myself, heading toward my bedroom.

"Ahh..." I sighed as I relaxed my body in warm water. "So relaxing, huh May?" I commented, closing my eyes.

"Agreed. It really opens up your pores, doesn't it?" I giggled and sank lower in the water.

"The tuna was good, surprisingly," I muttered, zoning out.

"I knew you'd like it. You love tuna."

I grinned, "I can't help it. It's my natural love."

"Uh huh, sure."

"So how's your squad?" I asked, opening my eyes. I fixed my eyes on Mayumi, who — not surprisingly —was still wearing that hat.

"Fine. Kiba's rather irritating, though. Shino's okay, even though he's... mysterious. Hinata's really sweet, but she's timid. Kurenai's really nice, and supports all of us."

"At least your sensei shows up on time. I wonder how late he'll be tomorrow."

"It'd be so funny if you decided to show up later, knowing he'd be late, and then he was early!" she burst out laughing, and I couldn't help but smile.

"I'm going to head home, May," I announced, standing up as she closed her eyes to continue her relaxation.

"Okay, just don't expect me to be home soon! This is paradise..." she mumbled, and I rolled my eyes and I got out, holding my thin towel to my body. I looked around for my clothes.

Where are they?! I frowned, realizing I never brought any clothes. I bristled. I was stuck walking home in a towel? You have got to be kidding me. I sighed, mentally kicking myself. Next time, I won't leave without clothes, I promised, and walked out of the springs, clutching the towel close to my body. I quickly paced my steps. At this pace, I should be home within a matter of minutes. I looked down, feeling the towel slip, and had to fix it.

Suddenly, I ran into something. I fixed my eyes upward to see —

"Sasuke?" we spoke at the same time, and I immediately blushed. My body was crushed against his, and he was wearing nothing but a towel around his waist. I pulled myself away, glaring at him.

"What the — what are you wearing?" I spat, looking him up and down.

"I'm going to — why are you naked?"

"It's called the springs," I snarled. "Trying to pull something?" I fumbled with the towel, making sure it was covering my butt and chest.

"What? No!" he said quickly, "You sure you weren't trying to pull something?" he smirked.

"Oh, please!" I rolled my eyes. "My standards aren't that low," I pushed passed him.

"Nice butt!" he called as I walked away, and I yelped in embarrassment and pulled down the towel even more. Sasuke's such a jerk...

"Misa, it's time to get up!" a voice said, interrupting my dream. I rolled over on my side.

"Five more minutes..." I mumbled, wrapping myself further in the blankets.

"No, Misaki. Now get up!" she shook my body, and I coughed.

"I'm sick."

"No you're not. Now get up! You don't want to be late for your first day!" My eyes flashed open, and I sat up.

"What time is it?" I asked, sleepily.

"Four in the morning."

"Ugh!" I groaned. "Why so early?!" I complained.

"You have to meet your sensei at five, remember? Now get up before I pour water on you!" I sighed.

"You're really supportive."

"I know," she headed toward my door, "now come down when you're ready!"

I pushed myself to get up, even though I was going to be exhausted today. I couldn't eat breakfast, and I only got five hours of sleep. Yay. Walking down the stairs to the kitchen seemed harder than usual, but I just figured my legs weren't awake yet.

"Finally!" Mayumi chirped, "you take forever to get dressed!"

"What? No I don't," I objected, "I just take my time." I grinned, and sat down at the counter, staring at my plate. Two pieces of bacon, scrambled eggs, and a glass of milk was my apparent breakfast.

"Really, May? A gallon of milk?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"It's not a gallon!" she answered, "you need to stay healthy!"

"It's not a gallon..." I mimicked, "stay healthy... psh, I'm healthy!" I said, reaching for my bacon. "You're not my mother."

"In my world, I am."

"Whatever," I rolled my eyes, finishing my last bite of eggs. "I need to go now. It's 4:50. See you when I get home!" I called, heading for the door.

"Not without a hug!" she intercepted me, and I turned around, laughing. I wrapped my arms around, smiling.

"Now can I go, Mom?" I teased. She laughed.

"Have fun! And if anyone causes you trouble, you know who to find!" she yelled as I closed the door behind me, sliding my backpack that carried all my ninja gear over my shoulder. Today's going to suck, that's for sure, I thought as I headed toward the Third Training Ground.

"You're late, Misaki," Sasuke announced when I was in his line of sight. I narrowed my eyes at him.

"No one asked for your comments, Sasuke."

"No one ever said they didn't," a smirk crossed his face.

"Sasuke's right! He should be able to —" Sakura began, but I talked over her.

"Just shut up, Sakura," I growled, setting my backpack on the ground and sat next to it.

How much later could someone possibly be? I thought, yawning. Kakashi's later than yesterday; it's been over two hours!

"Morning everyone, ready for your first day?" I recognized Kakashi' voice and spun around.

"Hey, you're late!" Sakura and Naruto glared at him.

"Well a black cat crossed my path, so I had to take the long way," he made up such a stupid excuse. "Well," he cleared his throat, "let's get started."
I feel so lazy. I keep putting off the survival exercise. xD Anyway, it'll be in the next chapter! Thanks for reading! Comment, rate & favorite! (:
