Today's The Day
At the Station

My parents dropped me off at the front, they had to go and quit their muggle jobs, so I was left on my own. I went to Platform 9, but Platform 9 3/4 was no where in sight. I then saw a red headed boy run through a brick wall. Found it! I thought to myself. I calmly walked through and found myself on Platform 9 3/4. Perfect!! Since I didn't have any family to say goodbye to, I boarded the train and found an empty compartment near the back. I put my things away and sat down. I pulled out my Journal. I don't do the whole dear diary thing. No. I write stories. Stories about made up lands with made up creatures. Nothing a muggle would understand. I began to write. Normally, once I start writing, nothing can stop me but something caught my eye. A handsome young boy, about my age, was boarding the train. He has extremely blond hair, like nothing I had ever seen before. He had gorgeous stone-cold grey eyes. He was passing by my compartment, so I tried to look away. However, our eyes locked. He kept my gaze for a long time before he walked in and sat down across from me. "Hello there." he said smoothly. "H-hello." I replied shyly. "I don't believe I've seen you before. May I ask your name?" "um.. Becca. Becca Corvec." I offered out my hand. "Malfoy, Draco Malfoy." he said with a smile. He shook my hand. He studied me for a moment. "Are your parents Linda and Charles Corvec?" "Yes. How do you know them?" "Our families have quite the history. It's a good one though. No worries." I laughed. "Its lovely to meet you Draco." "I saw you were writing. Are you one of those girls that writes everything in her Diary?" "Um...well no. I write stories actually." "Do you mind if I read it then?" I shook my head and handed him my book. He studied it for a long time. He flipped the pages one by one, making me worried something was wrong. "Im going to change into my robes." I said. I walked out of the room. I I went back and saw Draco smiling at me. "This is lovely. Beautifully written story with a poetic flow." "Well, thank you." We talked for the rest of the ride. Sharing stories, telling tales. I told him about my parents trying to homeschool me. His reply? " A young witch, homeschooled?" he smiled. He was charming. Sadly, we had to get off and get to the castle.
I was extremely nervous about Sorting. Draco said he was in Slytherin, I was so nervous. "Corvec, Becca." I stood up and sat down on the stool. "Hmm. This one will be difficult. Sly and cunning like a Slytherin. Brave and Bold like a Gryffindor. Smart and talented like a Ravenclaw, yet as timid as a Hufflepuff. Dumbledore, I believe its time." the hat said. Dumbledore began to speak. "There is another house in Hogwarts, an ancient one. One that has not been used since I was a young boy myself and long before." "This is the only house you fit in to. TIGERFANG!" the hat yelled. Dumbledore clapped his hands, and another table appeared in the room. I stood up and sat down at the very end. "With the sorting over, let the feast begin!!" And as if on cue, the food appeared on all of the tables. I slowly began to eat. I looked over at Draco. He seemed really disappointed. After dinner, Dumbledore took me to my tower. "I am the Head of this House. Understood?" "Yes Professor." He then said a word. Tigress. The door opened slowly. I found myself in a large common room with orange drapes. The door closed behind me, and I went to explore. I found my things unpacked on a large king-sized bed. I settled into my room and brought Lixy out of her cage and made a standing post for her. I then began to write. I wrote a letter to my parents, telling them about Hogwarts, my house and Draco. I gave it to Lixy and she flew off. I then really started to write. The main character was fighting a dragon, Hades, over her mother, who was captured. Of course she won, but she left with a condition. She had to give up something dear to her, so she gave up her journal, the very source of her power. Then she.... zzzzzz. I fell asleep while writing. That’s not surprising. But my dream was.................
