I Wish I Was A Black Veil Bride (An Andy Six Love Story)

Chapter 12

The Beginning Of A Rebel Love Song (DreamGirl as: Gillian)

"No. Go home Andy. Go back to Los Angelas and finish the tour. Forget the last year ever happened and that I ever existed." I said. "I can't, Checker. I can't! Why are you acting like this?" He asked. "I don't know! I don't know! I'm just tired of feeling like this." I answered. "Feel like what? What do you feel, Checker?" He asked. "I don't know. Empty, I guess. Like I have no purpose. Dammit I don't know! I just feel empty or something." I answered with my hands in my hair. "Then why don't you talk about it?" He asked. "Because. I'm tired of depending on you for emotional support. You've become my crutch over the last year. I lean on you when I can't hold myself up." I explained. "That's why I'm here. One of the millions of reasons I'm here. Don't feel bad." He said. "No, Andy. You don't understand! I took care of myself and held myself up for years and when you came along..." I trailed off. "No one can tackle life on they're own. I'm just here to help when you need it." He stated softly. "But I've become addicted to you and you're ''help''. It's nothing against you, Andy. It really isn't. I promise it's nothing against you. But I can't trust myself anymore." I explained. "Open the door so we can talk face-to-face. Please." He said.

I turned the bottle up once more and unlocked the door. I walked over to the window and stepped out on the balcony thing into the cool night air. Andy joined by my side. "I'll help you fill that empty space." He said. I didn't reply. "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't jump right here, right now." I said. "Because I..." He trailed off. I listened carefully. "Because I love you." He said. I looked at him. "I've waited so long to tell you this. Since the first day I met you, I didn't know what these feelings were but I figured them out and now, I can't take them back." He stated then paused. "Please say you feel the same way." He said looking at me with his eyebrows forward in concern. I took a step closer to him.

"I've made my feelings a secret because I didn't want you to leave. I wanted you to stay but I was scared that if I told you what I was feeling, you wouldn't feel the same then it would make things worse for everyone." I explained. He, again, pulled me into a deep, passionate kiss. I felt him slip the bottle from my hand as he kissed me. His lips traveled from mine, along my jawline and slowly down my neck. My hands slid from his neck to his shoulders, pulling him closer. His hand slid down my shoulders to my lower back and he pulled me closer. His hands slid the rest of way down to behind my knees and he picked me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist. His lips returned to mine and he kissed me as he walked back in my room. He laid me gently on the bed. He slid his hand under my shirt on my lower back. His other hand started sliding my shirt off. I started pulling his off as he kissed down my stomach. He started kissing back up my throat. I tried to remind myself that I was with Andy, not Chris. But it wasn't working like I wanted it to. I started remembering how Chris held me down while he took my clothes off. I remembered how I got so tired of fighting, I finally gave in and just let him have his way.

Andy slid my bra strap down my arm slowly and that was it. I jumped up with tears down my face. "I'm sorry, Andy. I can't. I just can't." I said. He stood up, picked his shirt up off the floor and walked over to me. "It's okay. You don't have to." He replied. "It's not you. It's me. I have flashbacks of that night and I try to tell myself it's you and not Chris but it doesn't work." I explained with tears running down my face. I looked at the floor while scratching my nails. "It's normal. You had something very awful happen to you. It's only been a month and trial is still going. You have deep wounds from it. You have to have time to heal. Don't rush into things." He said. I nodded. He held his shirt to me, offering it for me to put it on. I took the white t-shirt and slipped it on.

I woke up the next morning. Andy was sitting on the side of the bed smoking a cigarette. Then I heard someone hitting the door pretty hard. "Alright you two! Get up! Breakfast is ready!" Demon yelled through the door. I stood up. Andy turned around. "I didn't think you were awake yet." He said looking me over. "I just woke up." I replied. "I know what you're doing in there! You can do it later!" Demon yelled. "Go away!" I replied. Andy put his cigarette out in the ashtray by the bed. He stood up and walked over to me.

He smiled and opened the door. I still had his t-shirt on. Everyone looked at us. Jewel's jaw dropped and the pan she was holding hit the floor with a loud clatter. Even Ashley was looking at us. They're eyes wide with shock. "Holy shi-" Jewel started. "It's not what you think!" I said. Ashley raised his eyebrow. "Really?" He asked. "Yes. Really. Nothing happened." I answered. "Lying bi+ch! Why do you have his shirt on instead of him?" Jewel asked pointing the fork at us she had in her hand. "I spilled something on my shirt!" I lied. "You spilled something on you're shirt alright." She said. I stormed over to her. She dropped the fork and started running. She made one mistake: running between Demon and Axe. They stuck they're legs out and tripped her. I pounced on her like a lion. I put my hands around her throat but I wasn't going to hurt her. "I said nothing happened!" I said through gritted teeth while fighting a smile. "LIAR!" She yelled. "Why won't you believe me!?" I demanded with a slight smile. "Because I know you!" She answered. "I'm still a-" But I cut myself off and stopped. It suddenly hit me that I couldn't say that word anymore. I wasn't that thanks to Chris.

Andy put his hand on my shoulder. I shook my head. "Hey, you guys. We have an invitation to perform with Papa Roach tonight." Demon said. "What?! Tonight!? Why didn't you say something sooner?!" I demanded. "I just got the email!" He defended. I sighed annoyed. "Your gonna pay for that one day." I growled turning towards my bedroom.

~The Concert~
"Here's our opening band, Beautiful Lie!" The lead singer (yes, I forgot his name. I was too focused on the huge crowd in front of me.) Me and my bandmates ran up on stage. We smiled and waved at everyone. I joined, whatever his name is. "This is a new song we've wrote. We hope you guys like it. It's called No Matter What." He said. The music started playing and I knew where I came in at.

"I need you right here, by my side, ou're everything I'm not in my life, we're indestructable, we are untouchable, nothing can take us down tonight, you are so beautiful, it should be criminal
that you could be mine." He started singing. "And we will make it out alive
I'll promise you this love will never die! No matter what, I got your back, I'll take a bullet for you if it comes to that, I swear to God that in the bitter end, we're gonna be the last ones standing." I sang in return. We was facing each other. I was a little distracted by his tattoos. Not that they were bad, just... distracting.

"So believe me when I say, you're the one, they'll never forgive us for the things we've done, and we will make it out alive, I'll promise you this love will never die! No matter what, I got your back, I'll take a bullet for you if it comes to that, I swear to God that in the bitter end," he sang. "We're gonna be the last ones standing, we'll never fight, we'll never fade, I'll promise you forever and my soul today, no matter what until the bitter end, we're gonna be the last ones standing." I sang in return. The tune had picked up a bit. "And everybody said that we would never last, and if they saw us now I bet they'd take it back, it doesn't matter what we do or what we say, cause nothing matters anyway!" We sang in unison.

"No matter what, I got your back, I'll take a bullet for you if it comes to that, I swear to God that in the bitter end, we're gonna be the last ones standing, we'll never fight (we'll never fight) We'll never fade (we'll never fade), no matter what until the bitter end," he sang softly then paused. "Were gonna be the last ones standing!" He suddenly sang energetically. The band stopped playing and the crowd cheered. "Thanks, Checker for coming out and singing with me. Now, it's yours and Black Veil Brides turn!" He said. He pulled me into a quick hug then walked off the stage then Andy and his band members came up.

The band started playing. It was a little upbeat. "I cannot hide what’s on my mind, I feel it burning deep inside, a passion crime to take what’s mine, let us start living for today." Andy sang.

"Never gonna’ change my mind, we can leave it all behind, nothin’s gonna’ stop us, no not this time." I sang in return.

"So take your hand in mine, it’s ours tonight, this is a Rebel Love Song." Andy sang.

"Hearts will sacrifice, it’s do or die, this is a Rebel Love Song."

"My outlaw eyes have seen their lies, I choke on all they had to say, when worlds collide what’s left inside, I hold on tight and hear you pray."

"Never gonna’ change my mind, we can leave it all behind, nothin’s gonna’ stop us, no not this time." We sang together.

"So take your hand in mine, it’s ours tonight. This is a Rebel Love Song." I sang.

"Hearts will sacrifice, it’s do or die, this is a Rebel Love Song."

"Wild and running for one reason, they can’t stop us from our freedom!" We sang together.

"Wild and running for one reason
They can’t stop us from our freedom." Our band members sang.

"Never gonna’ change my mind, we can leave it all behind, nothin’s gonna’ stop us, no not this time." I sang.

"So take your hand in mine, it’s ours tonight, this is a Rebel Love Song." andy sang in reply.

"Hearts will sacrifice, it’s do or die, this is a Rebel Love Song."

"So take your hand in mine, it’s ours tonight, this is a Rebel Love Song. Hearts will sacrifice, it’s do or die, this is a Rebel Love Song!" We sang together. Everyone cheered and clapped. "Encore! Encore!" They chanted. We smiled. "Goodnight." We all said together. We placed the mics on the stands and walked off the stage.

"I haven't seen you in four years. You're hitting it big time and you're just going to walk right by me?" I heard a familiar voice ask. I stopped. A huge smile on my face as I spun around on my heels.

"Gillian. You little bi+ch you." I smiled. The light bounced off her hazel eyes as she smiled back. Her hair was black with purlpe streaks and her skin was so pale.

I pulled her into a tight hug. "Did you're parents finally decide to let you speak to me?" I asked. "Hell, their still at home. They'd probably have a fit." She answered. I remembered everyone standing behind me. I let go of her and turned around. "Oh, Gill. This is my friends Andy, Ashley, Chris, Chris Craven, Jewel, Demon, Axe and Joel." I introduced. "Hi." Everyone said in unison. "Hey." She smiled back shyly.

"How did you know where I was?" I asked. "Internet. I seen on a site where Papa Roach had a special guest and I found out it was you and I ditched home for a few days to come see you." She said. "Well that's nice. Do you want to come back to the apartment with us?" I asked. "Sure! It'd be nice to catch up on everything." She replied. "Great! Let's go!" I said pulling her towards the exit and everyone followed.

Everyone was talking. "You have you're own little crowd don't you?" Gillian chuckled as we poured the drinks into the glasses. I laughed. "But they keep me sane. Well, I was never sane so the keep me insane." I joked. She nudged me in the ribs with her elbow. I turned around. Andy was leaning in the doorway. I looked at him. "I'm gonna head home." He said pointing over his shoulder. "Aw, really?" I asked disappointed. He smirked. "Yeah. My mom's gonna be worried. It's after midnight." He said. "It's WHAT?!?" I exclaimed. It couldn't be after midnight. Not yet.

"Yeah. It doesn't seem that late." He said. "Okay. Let me finsih these drinks and I'll walk out with you." I said. "Go. I'll finish the drinks." Gillian said. "Are you sure?" I asked. "Yep. There's not but a couple left to finish." She said. "Okay. Thanks." I smiled. She nodded and turned back to the drinks while me and Andy walked out.

As we walked through the livingroom, everyone was rallied around in a circle. Demon and Axe was about to wrastle. "Don't break anything." I said as I opened the door for Andy. "We won't!" They replied. Me and Andy walked out the door. I shut it behind me. "I enjoyed performing tonight." He said. "I did, too.It really kind of got me back into the swing of things." I replied. "Does this mean you'll still sing?" He asked. "I'm not sure. It's just- with everything going on and the trial and stuff, I just don't feel like it at the moment." I explained. He nodded. His phone started ringing. He got it out of his pocket and answered. "Hello?" He answered. I could hear a woman on the other line. "Yeah mom, I'll be home in a minute. I'm standing here with Checker." He said. "In the hallway. I'm heading for the car right now." He continued smiling. "Okay. Bye I love you." He said and hung the phone up. "She's fussing because I'm not home yet." He said putting his phone back in his pocket. "She has a valid reason to worry." I replied. "Yeah, well..." He trailed off. His bright blue eyes studying mine.

He leaned closer. I knew he was about to kiss me. As the space between us grew nearer and nearer, my heart pounded. Our lips were about to touch when I heard glass shatter. We paused. I clenched my eyes shut. Imaging the mess I was about to find. "Quick. Find the broom and let's clean it up before she get's back." I heard Demon said. I rolled my eyes as they opened. "I'm going to see what they destroyed. I'll see you tomorrow." I said. "Okay. Night." Andy replied with a slight smile. "Night." I said warmly. I opened the door and went in. Everyone stopped and stared at me.

"I was standing outside the whole time you idiots. What'd you break?" I asked. Demon and Axe grinned a cheesy grin. "A plate." Jewel finally answered. "You two need to stop with the Red Bull..." I said narrowing my eyes. "I'm going to put my pajama's on and when I come back, I expect only you two to clean it up. Not Joel, Jewel, Gillian, Craven, Chris, Ashley, or anyone else. Just. You. Two." I said pointing to Axe and Demon. The rolled their bottom lips out like they were pouting. I walked out of the room, into my room and gathered my pajama's and went into the bathroom to get a shower.

Me and Gillian sat on my bed. Everyone went home and Axe and Demon crashed on the couch. "You and Andy look like you have a spark going on." Gillian said. "Really? We're just friends is all. Pretty close friends. He's been there for me for the last month when I needed someone like him." I explained. "What happened?" She asked. I forget that she didn't know.

"His lead guitarist, Chris Hollywood raped me a little over a month ago. We've been going to trial for the last month trying to get him a sentance. Chris thinks I'm pregnant but I'm not. We're letting him think that I am so he'll have something to worry about. Andy beat his ass and we all ended up in jail for it was over. Andy had to stay longer because they founds drugs on the bus but they found out that they weren't Andy's but infact that they were Chris'. But Andy's been there for me and in a way, he's convincing me that not all guys are like that. He's just such a nice guy." I explained. "That's good to know. That- he's been there for you I mean. He seems like a nice person. I also notice the way you two react to each other." She said. "What do you mean?" I asked. "You read each others emotion and energy and what ever the other is feeling, you pick up on that. It's pretty cool actually." She stated.

I rolled my eyes. "What?" She asked. "You find everything "cool"." I said with a slight smile. "Only an unlimited number of things do I find cool. I can't help what I find cool/attractive. If it catches my attention, I'm going to look." She stated. I looked at her. She started laughing. I laughed, really ''at'' her ''for'' laughing.

After we got our laughing spell over, I reached in the drawer of the table by my bed and got my cigarettes. Marlboro menthol. My favorite. I pulled a cigarette out and laid the cigarettes on the table, got the lighter and started to light my smoke but suddenly, Gillian blew my lighter out. "Hey!" I said looking at her. "Cigarettes are bad for you're health. You shouldn't smoke. They cause cancer." She said. "But they taste good and they calm my nerves and I like them." I replied placing the cigarette in my mouth. I held the lighter up about to light my cigarette again but she snatched the cigarette out of my mouth. "Hey, hey, hey!" I said chasing her hand down with my smoke. She broke it up into little pieces. "Hey! I was going to enjoy that!" I exclaimed. "Nope. Death is not enjoyable and this is slow suicide." She said throwing the remainders of my cigarette in the trash. I looked in the trash can. "Rest in peace, Menthol. I'm sorry that my crazy cousin had to rip you to pieces and throw you away." I said sadly. She snickered. "It's not funny! This is a sad time." I said crossing my arms. "Aw, it'll be okay. Here, have some gum." She said holding up a pack of juicy fruit. "I'll pass. I want my cigarette." I replied. "Well you're not getting it. Eat a peice of fruit or something." She said. "Nooo!" I exclaimed plopping back on the bed.

I hit the bed with my hands. "No! I- want- my- cigarette!" I whined. She laughed. I started fake crying. "Aw, you'll be okay." She said patting my shoulder. "No I won't!" I whined. She laughed more.

The Next Morning/Andy's POV~
I walked in Checker's apartment. Demon and Axe were whispering and chuckling. "What are you guys doing?" I asked shutting the door behind me. "Shhh!" They said fighting a laugh. They eased Checker's bedroom door open. I followed behind. Curious of what they were gonna do. Demon picked Checker up in his arms bridal style while Axe opened the door to the balcony. I leaned in the doorway and watched. Demon laid Checker across the rails of the balcony. Axe walked over and they grabbed her ankles and let her hang upside down on the balcony.

I was instantly on edge, afraid they would drop her. She opened her eyes and looked around. She realized what was happening and started screaming. "ANDY!" She screamed in fear. I was standing there. "Demon! Goddammit! Axe! Mother fvckers let me up!" She screamed. She started struggling and I was afraid they would drop her. "You guys, that's enough. Let her up." I said. "Mmm, not yet." Demon said. "You're gonna drop her!" I exclaimed. That didn't help Check any.

"Andy! Please!" She pleaded. I noticed she was starting to cry. Cars and people were passing by on the ground. We were on the 24th floor. "Please!" She screamed. Axe and Demon were laughing. I reached my hand down for her to take. She grabbed my hand and I pulled her up. Tears running down her face. "You son of a bi+ches. I'm gonna beat you're fvcking a
ss." She growled wripping her eyes on the back of her hand.

"Really?" They laughed. She picked up a flower pot. They ran as she threw it through the apartment. "A
ssholes!" She yelled walking back in the apartment. "You're gonna pay!" She yelled as we entered the living room but Demon nor Axe were in sight.

"What the hell is going on?!" Jewel demanded walking into the room. "Those as
sholes was holding me over the balcony! Upside down no less! One wrong and they would've dropped me!" Checked exclaimed. Jewel shook her head.

~
Normal POV*~
After my wake up call, I was a little shaken. I couldn't get over looking 24 floors down, hanging upside down. That was horrible enough without being woke up to it. If I was awake, it wouldn't have been as bad but I was scared sh#tless. I didn't know if I was dreaming or who the hell had my ankles.

I brushed my hair back out of my face. I took a deep breath. "Are you okay?" Andy asked concerned. "Yeah. After I justifibly murder Demon and Axe, everything'll be fabulous!" I answered letting my hands fall onto my hips. "We heard that!" They yelled. "Good!" I yelled back.

Now I had to clean up the broken flowerpot in our living room. It was broken into three pieces.

They walked out. I picked up the remains of the flowerpot. "Oh sh#t." Demon said and started shoving Axe but Axe didn't realize what I was doing. "Dude, she's got the flower pot!" Demon exclaimed when Axe would budge. Axe's eyes got wide. Just as they started running, I threw the flowerpot. I heard it shatter into a million little pieces.

I turned to face Andy. Him and Gillian were looking at me wide eyed. "We know not to piss you off." Gill said. "At least don't hang me upside down 20 fvckin 4 stories in the air when I'm asleep!" I exclaimed so Demon and Axe could hear me.

We heard a knock on the door. Everyone exchanged glances. They knocked on the door again. I walked over and opened the door. There stood two cops in the doorway.

"Can I help you?" I asked nicely. "We got a call about three guys holding a young lady over the balcony...?" The first cop questioned. "Axe! Demon! The cops wanna question you!" I called. I watched as they eased out of their room and into the living room. "Do you care to explain why you were holding a young lady over the balcony?" The second cop asked them. "Uhm, it- it was a joke. We had no intentions of hurting her. And the third guy was helping her up. He didn't have no part in it." They explained sheepishly. "Don't let it happen again. You could have easily dropped her and killed her. If we have to come back to something like this again, even if it is a practical joke, it's serious and very dangerous. Someone will go to jail." He warned. Demon and Axe nodded. I looked back at the cops. They nodded. "Have a good day ma'am." He said. "You, too." I said softly. They walked off and I shut the door.

"See you dumbfvcks. You coulda went to jail. You coulda got Andy sent to jail. I would have to murder you." I said looking at them. "We-" Demon started but I cut him off. "Don't say you weren't going to drop me. You could have lost your grip or give me a heart attack! You know I have nightmares when I sleep. Just- I have to get ready for work." I said pinching the bridge of my nose.

"Okay. Now that was have that covered, I'll be out of the shower in a minute." I told Andy and Gillian. "Okay." Gill said and walked over to the kitchen. I walked towards my room but noticed Andy following me. I stopped and turned around. "What are you doing?" I asked. "I wanna ask you something." He answered. "Ask away." I said. "You wanna go out tonight? to like a movie or something?" He asked. "Um, I don't know. What about Gillian? Won't she be kind of like a third wheel or something? I haven't seen her in years. I don't want her feeling awkward or anything." I said. "I have someone that can go with her." He replied. "Who?" I asked curious. "My friend Chance. They'll like each other." He said. "Okay. I get off work around five or five-thirty. I'll get her to meet me and you and you're friend can meet us somewhere." I explained. A smile spread across his face. "Good. I'll see you tonight." He smiled. "Okay, okay. Don't look at me like that." I said. "Like what?" He asked. "That- that look. It screams "warm and fuzzy and hello kitty sh#t". It kinda creeps me out." I said with a slight smile. He changed his expression but it was a very... ''seductive'' look.

I placed my hand on his forehead and pushed him back jokingly. "I have to get ready for work. I'll see you tonight." I said turning back towards my room. "Okay." He agreed.
