We took this test in S.S. the other day and I thought it was interesting what they cared about. It has it's own description:
There was a time when public schools took seriously the task of teaching young women the finer points of housekeeping. In the early 50s, future homemakers (and others) answered questions such as the ones below from the New York State Regents High School Examination. Heat up your irons!
