My native language is Spanish but I stopped speaking it when I moved to the US. Despite this I can still understand Spanish very well because my parents speak it. I learned English when I lived in Chicago but then I moved to Belgium. Now Dutch has become a language I use every day but this hasn't had any effect on my English, which has actually improved over the years even though it isn't a native language in Belgium. At school I'm learning French and German.
