well, I think it would make a pretty big change if it was sunrise at the same time here in the US as it is in Australia... the world would be flat then, wouldn't it?
More confusing, because no matter if we all switched to one single time zone that means that the OTHER 39 time zones have to make do and change as well with ease. And you can't exactly secure that that's gunna go over well. At all.
Think if you fell asleep in the morning, then you woke up the next day and it was the morning. You'd either be wonderfully rested from sleeping while the times clashed for a change, or be about dead from being groggier than a pint in Ireland.
EVERYBODY PLEASE READ MY NOTE BELOW THIS ONE!!!!
I want to clarify that in this question, it would be light and darkness the same time everywhere in the world, NOT just the time being the same everywhere.
Well, considering that we have morning, afternoon and night...it would be a silly decision. Not to mention, we've been using GMT, UTC, daylight saving and standardised local times for a loong, long time. It would ruin the current system. The world times are fine, just the way they are.
Even using a sun dial would be messed up, if we made every time everywhere the same.
It would make things much easier! For starters, no more jet lag at last! ;D
Way too confusing... I mean, it's 11 PM on the west coast of California now, but if it were also 11 PM in, say, Korea, it'd be light outside. So your whole understanding of what certain times mean would have to change. I just don't see it working.
I think it would make everything so much easier
