Let's face it. Nowadays, people are stubborn and selfish and don't want to hear anyone else's opinion but their own. It's dumb. Whatever happened to "freedom of speech"?
I guess if they don't like the truth, they don't want to hear it. However honest someone's opinion is, if another person is against it, they will hate.
Haters. Gonna. Hate.
the truthful one didn't tell the other what they wanted to hear ...and what everyone else said too !
because sometimes the truth hurts....sometimes honest opinions can be mean, hurtful....
I think that people sometimes don't want to hear the truth (the truth can hurt), so when someone tells them the non-sugar-coated version of something, they take it offensively. That was a very long sentence :P
i guess people cant except the truth and dont like those who speak it
come across right. What's innocent or funny to one, could be interpreted quite the opposite to another.
Oftentimes that honest opinion is rude. There is a difference between 'blunt' and 'rude,' a line which is crossed often. Yes, sometimes people do express it just fine, but there are self-absorbed people out there as well. And sometimes, things that could be said and understood just fine when speaking face-to-face doesn't come across half as well online. There are different stresses and different viewpoints behind every sentence, and with print on the page (unless you're super expressive) don't
because the truth hurts sometimes
Or they think the persons opinion is mean
