I think so. Even my grandparents comment on that, and they've lived in places such as Singapore, and Asia, and India. Even in those places, they still have the same characteristics (at least some of them) as someone in America who has the same name. My cousin has a name that my grandmother said not to use because everyone she knew by that name was whiny, demanding, and self-centered. Even my cousin's mother says that about her daughter now!
It all has to do with the names, I'm pretty sure.
idk its possible like just think about the name Felix its an awesome name and the Romans gifted it to their best warriors that would more than likely make a popular kid
with a round face. I have another friend named olivia and her eyes are olive green. I have a brother named dean, he seems to take charge in all he does, become a leader. dean means head or leader. But i guess in way you can find ways all peoples names agree with their personalities or features. the fact that i couldnt really come up with anymore examples kinda shrink that idea. I guess that really just happens by chance. I think the monthe you were born in effects your personality though
idk. my name is shannon mary and shannon means small and wise, mary means sea of bitterness. Im rather short and have small breast, and i dont want to brag or anything but i do think im wise in some areas(but we all are =]) and im not going to lie i am a bitter and sort of mean person, i like to tell the truth and if it hurt someones feelings... well if i lied do you think they would be any better off? I have a friend named olivia, which means olive tree, she is sort of long and lanky
I have the idea that it will only affect how the child looks at his/her name. For instance, a child hates his/her name, they will usually have a negative impression on themselves. Another possibility for such cases is they'll simply hate they're name, but all other aspects may be fine.
My answer sounds so mature! GAH! I'm only 16. O.O"
... maybe. i agree with the weird+name=possibly unpopular/popular theory tho.
I definitely think someone's name can affect their popularity. My younger cousin's best friend, Shithead, used to be made fun of all the time because it looks like there is a cuss word in his name.
depends . DEPENDS
wow all letters aloud in one go no editing.
ok i think at first it doesnt effect ur name bu if u have a wierd name then people will make fun of u and that could make u not believe in ur self which would lead to not having good grade even if ur clever becuase u dotn believe u can do it and also u may be judge on ur name when ur older( for example a manager may not give u a job because ur name if ridiculous) which could make ur personality more secretive and saden ur life, so yes it can, but only in extremely over the top cases of names.
