lmao! Why is Mrs.Radke commenting on what Islam is and on what Muslims believe obviously as Warrioress and I should know since we are Muslims, the followers of Islam and since we are knowledgeable and taught on this subject. Like come on you just come here to start spewing your falsify and groundless hate. Islam does teach that those of Abrahamic faith are our brothers&sisters and basically we all in one god and we all basically believe in the same prophets, but our views are slightly different.
GUYS....THE TRUTH: WE ALL WORSHIP THE SAME GOD!!!
Jewish and Christian people DEFF believe in the same God (which is evident in the bible), and 'Allah' literally means God...So there you have it....We're all the same but just have different beliefs and views.....
Islam is about, but in reality terrorists are only a very small portion of Muslims. Most are very kind peaceful people. Just like every other religion, they have a few radicals who kill people because they don't have the same religion and are against certain people. Christians, Jews, and every other religion that exists have a small percentage like this. Don't look at terrorists and think "Yup, that's what Islam is", because it's not. Muslims are taught to be peaceful and respectful of everyone.
Muslims, Christians and Jews all worship the same god. Judiasm came first, and Christianity built onto that, and Islam built onto that. They have different beliefs, but all worship the same person who supposedly created all of this planet and the universe. By the way, terrorists aren't even technically following the Muslim beliefs. Muslims are taught to respect all other religions and to be as peaceful as possible. People who don't know much about Islam believe that terrorists are what all of
to enforce their beliefs by trying to incorporate in a certain way the old religion and the new. Yes, some religions do cross over naturally, others were forced like many of the pagan ones were. Perhaps I should have chosen my words more carefully but nonetheless I was trying to make a point how some people are ignorant of the fact that the gods of the Big Three are one and the same.
I don't think it's a fact; mianhae. It's not being ignorant, but I think differently than you do.
And remember that Islam has also forced itself on other peoples. Many times; even today. Just like the Christians did, only a little bit bloodier. So....
I'm not meaning that other people who disagree with me are idiots themselves, but for anyone who has studied religions and who have friends who are Muslim (to be specific) know that the god between those three religions are one and the same NOT different. I have covered pagan religions before because I am a pagan myself and a history major. The saints and such from some of these cultures you mentioned didn't happen until the Christians forced their faith on those who did not believe and so tried
Christianity derived from Judaism. Anybody who says otherwise is an idiot. But to go on to Islam: the Angel Gabriel came to Muhammad, a man who was illiterate and told him to read the "Word of God" that was presented in Gabriel's hand. Where else do we see the Angel Gabriel? In Christianity and Judaism. The god Jews, Christians, and Muslims worship is the SAME god. I took a religions course in college, so I would know this topic well. Anyone who says differently is, again, an idiot.
Where you mention the angel Gabriel coming in is a very classic example of religions and cultures blending. In the same way that the Aesir and Vanir combine, that Zeus marries Hera yet somehow has many other wives (I doubt you covered Polytheistic religions in your course), and that Russian Orthodoxy has so many Saints that just happen to have the same names and attributes of pre-Christian Gods and Goddesses of the Slavic peoples, Islam, Christianity, and Judaism are blended and blurred
across certain lines.
Just because you took a college course is something, doesn't make you an expert on the subject. School is there to teach you what to think. Not how to think. Therefore, they teach you based on what they believe is right. They don't let you form your own opinions on things.
And Christians believe in the Trinity i.e. the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, where as in Islam we believe that there is only one God (who has more than a thousand names but we often refer to as Allah, meaning the one everyone always turns to) and that Jesus was a just a great prophet (Islam's Allah has no child or spouse. He is above such things) and what Christians refer to as the Holy Spirit was the Archangel who brought to him God's words.
Whoever said yes must not know about one/multiple of these religions. Obviously all of the gods are different.
I'm a Muslim myself and I strongly believe that I worship the same God as the Christians and the Jews. The Quran says that Christians and Jews have gradually deviated from their original beliefs and that their descriptions of God are slightly inaccurate, but that does not mean that each of them worships a separate deity. There are differences in details but not in essence. For instance, Jews believe God to have a body of some sort if I am not mistaken, which we do not.(continued in next comment)
You do not worship the same god as Christians and Jewish people. You can believe what you want, but you need to study up on all three religions before you can say things like that. I have, and from that, and my background knowledge, I know that none of us worship the same God. The Jewish God and Christian God are about as similar as you will get. That's about all.
Oh, and by the way, the Christians and Jews have not deviated from the original desciprtions of God. Well, it's possible that TBC
the Jewish people could've (I am not Jewish, so I don't know), but Christians have not. I'm sorry, but that statement is false. Christians have the same view of God that we have forever. It hasn't changed and it will never change. The Quran was wrong about that.
Yeah, you're correct... You're like Dumbledore and I'm like Snape...I'm still learning from wiser people.
