Texas couldn't leave even if they trin a treaty to make it a state after the civil war. The goverment isn't allowed to make themselves a nation anymore
when did the rumor go around that Texas was going to be their own country???
I don't believe that Texas is going to detatch itself from the US again, because in the past they couldn't make it, so why would they be able to make it now? No offense to the people that live in Texas.
I know! Texas and Quebec should join forces!
But still, I think it's silly.
Forget Texas. Illinois needs to be split into two different states. People in Chicago's opinions are far different from ours in Central and Southern Illinois and it effects us greatly.
OMG, if they did that, think of all the trouble they would cause. The US would most likely go to war with them, and some of the communist countries would probably bomb it, it just seems like too much of a hassle to me.
I think it would be a bad idea, because if Texas became Communist, which I doubt will happen, considering Texans... But if it did, then it could spread to the rest of us...
Communism as an idea isn't that bad- everyone is completely equal, everyone gets a say, etc. The thing is, it never works because people don't LIKE being completely equal, they always want to be better. That's the main reason for me anyways.
Ha. Good luck with that. I highly doubt that will happen, but it'll be pretty entertaining watching them figuring out how. :D
Nah, I doubt it.
They used to be their own country in like the 1830s and 1840s, but then it came into the USA because it couldn't sustain itself or something like that. But I have no idea.
Your partially right. Like America, we gained our freedom and had a rough start. And we were our own country for a while, but our government wasn;t good and we were having problems with money, so we joined the US so they could help our debt and help us survive
