I honestly do not care if the world says you can't celebrate Christmas. You cannot force people to not celebrate it as a Christian holiday. Whatever anyone says, I refuse to not celebrate it just so some extreme atheists are happy. Another point- I know it doesn't apply to everyone- but at least in America, we are suppose to allow freedom of religion. Don't bash my rights to celebrate it just because you don't.
I just want to point out that people should be allowed to celebrate their holidays.
3.That is what it is about
1.If you take it off,it would be mas.
2.You don't have to change the holidays if you don't believe.
How would you like it if we took the Jewish meaning out of Chanukah, the Islam meaning out of Eid Al-Fitr, or the Hindu meaning out of Holi? This is a Christian celebration of the birth of Christ (symbolically. If you want a celebration of winter, create a new holiday. Christmas is a religious Christian holiday.
ABSOLUTELY NOT. WE ONLY HAVE CHRISTMAS BECAUSE OF CHRIST!!!!
I'm Pagan and I celebrate Christmas, not as a religious holiday but as a day to be with family and trade meaningful gifts as an appreciation of each other. Just because it's 'The Birth Of Christ' doesn't mean others can't celebrate it for other reasons. You can celebrate it and call it what you want, just because someone is of a different religion to yours doesn't mean you have to listen to them on what to believe/do. It should stay Christmas because its just a name, chill.
Thank you!!! I totally agree!!! I'm atheist and I celebrate Christmas!!!
CHRIST IS WHAT CHRISTMAS IS ABOUT!!! THAT'S WHY IT'S IN THE WORD. CHRISTMAS IS CELEBRATING THE DAY OF HIS BIRTH. If you don't believe, get the fück off our holiday. :D
Christmas means 'Christ Time', if you are not a Christian then you don't need to celebrate it!
You'd have to change the entire name, it's CHRIST and MASS put together, both are extremely christian.
Honestly I don't really know, I just chose "No" because the holiday would sound a bit weird being called "Mas"
