21 is alright. I don't want my 18 year old friends' breath to smell rotten.
well in places like Germany, there is no drinking age limit, so there's not any reason for kids to use alcohol as a source to rebel against their parents. there's not really any problems when it comes to drinking there.
In Australia it is already 18 so...
Ban the beer.
If you can vote for the leader of your country and be shipped off to war, you can have a beer. Seriously.
Certainly not. 21 is good. And that's coming from a middle-schooler.
I don't think we should. People at the age of eighteen already drink, so it won't make much of a difference.
in all honesty i dont think its gonna make a difference. people would still get drunk and people would still be buying alcohol and minors will still get their hands on alcohol. however i do think (and science agrees with me) 18 is too young to be legally an adult. youre still stupid and you still can think rationally or consider consequences at 18. this is mostly for criminal reasons and they are talking about how they wanna lower prison populations both currently and in the future
i think raising the adult age is the way to go in that sense. 18 year old offenders would still have a chance to live life.
The drinking age over here in the UK is eighteen already, and there are few problems. People can get hold of alcohol easily though, I think that if the drinking age was unreasonably high people would feel more inclined to illegally drink.
yes i think so too and i think thats the problem here in the US
Where I am drinking is allowed at 18, so I see no problem in that, if it's a smooth landing and you drink responsibly.
The comment "If we can go to war at 18 then why can't we drink?" is weird though. Those two things barely have anything to do with each other, and it sounds dangerous if they do.
